Today, I discovered the fashion blog for the NY Post which host pictures taken directly from the streets of NYC that highlight everyday fashionable people. Natalie Decleve, who does branding and marketing for Kiki de Montparnasse, was featured yesterday looking chic and stylish in the city. I love how she styled an INHABIT cashmere sweater over a Mara Hoffman dress while accessorizing with a chunky BCBG ring and a few vintage necklaces.

Personally, I find much fashion inspiration through observation of individual style. While I do love to pull looks from magazines for my own personal look, I am also a huge fan of the trendsetting people who pass me each day. I love how five different people could wear the same piece but each is styled to the individual’s preference making each look entirely unique.

Second City Style is reporting on the “preppy and cool” sweater vest trend that is back for fall. Even celebrities like Blake Lively are jumping on the trend. She was recently spotted at the New York Hot Hollywood celebration on October 25th wearing an INHABIT vest in charcoal.
