After dashing through the snow in Denver, we piled back in the car and headed east towards Chi-town, where we spent most of our time sampling some deep dish pizza, looking up at the Sears Tower and desperately trying to catch a glimpse of Oprah. In our brief but fun-filled time in the Second city, it was rather easy to figure out why Chicago is commonly referred to as “The Windy City.” Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Chicago is so windy that when we got out of the car we were nearly blown to Indiana.

To help the good people of Chicago fight off the fierce winds that have come to define their city, we recommend the INHABIT Stretch Pointelle Turtleneck. This merino/alpaca blend item is warm and stylish and hugs the body so that the intense chicago winds can’t turn you into a human kite. For the next week (11/9 – 11/15), this turtleneck as well as all other non-sale items are available at 20% off with the discount code: CHICAGO09. Also, a $250 gift certficate is available to our 8th purchaser from the great state of Illinois as our way of saying the second city is first in our hearts.
