Andy’s Holiday Wish List

Posted on December 9th, 2009

When it comes to holiday gifts, they say you should try to give someone something that they want or need, but would never get for themselves. For men, this more often than not means clothes. Most guys rarely see the need to go shopping.  They view it as a chore that they begrudgingly do just because their favorite shirt is starting to resemble swiss cheese.  What’s funny is that these same men, who are perfectly content wearing something until it all but evaporates into thin air, still love great clothes (though they may never admit it). While they might think they want that new putter they saw on TV, they’ll use and (secretly) cherish a beautiful cashmere sweater a whole lot more.

It is for this reason that INHABIT knitwear is the perfect gift to get for your man this holiday season.  Not only is it something he probably needs and will likely never buy for himself, but the timeless, classic look of INHABIT knitwear means it is something that will remain stylish and appropriate until long after the next time you buy him something.  My recommendations are the INHABIT Classic Cardigan, the INHABIT Mens Classic Cashmere Crew and the INHABIT Cotton Thermal Henley, but that’s just my opinion.  Go ahead and browse the Gifts for Him section in the INHABIT Holiday Gift Guide, to see which styles your man will quietly be obsessed with.

The Great INHABIT Road Trip: Chicago

Posted on November 9th, 2009

After dashing through the snow in Denver, we piled back in the car and headed east towards Chi-town, where we spent most of our time sampling some deep dish pizza, looking up at the Sears Tower and desperately trying to catch a glimpse of Oprah. In our brief but fun-filled time in the Second city, it was rather easy to figure out  why Chicago is commonly referred to as “The Windy City.” Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Chicago is so windy that when we got out of the car we were nearly blown to Indiana.

To help the good people of Chicago fight off the fierce winds that have come to define their city, we recommend the INHABIT Stretch Pointelle Turtleneck. This merino/alpaca blend item is warm and stylish and hugs the body so that the intense chicago winds can’t turn you into a human kite.  For the next week (11/9 – 11/15), this turtleneck as well as all other non-sale items are available at 20% off with the discount code: CHICAGO09. Also, a $250 gift certficate is available to our 8th purchaser from the great state of Illinois as our way of saying the second city is first in our hearts. Next Stop: HOME

The Great INHABIT Road Trip: Denver

Posted on November 2nd, 2009

After a week of leaving the windshield wipers on, we left Seattle and headed straight for the Rockies. The scenery  as we arrived upon the Mile High City was breathtaking and shed some light on what John Denver was singing about all those years. Yet, when we got out of the car and set foot on the (ALREADY!) snow covered ground, we were taken back  by just how cold it was. Denver is so cold, it makes New York feel like a spring break destination.

To help battle the frigid conditions, we suggest that the people of Denver get their frost-bitten hands on the INHABIT Thermal Stitch Turtleneck. This unique and stylish turtleneck is the perfect way to stay warm whether you’re hitting the slopes, tailgating for the Broncos or just having a night out on the town. For the next week (11/2 – 11/8), this turtleneck as well as all other non-sale items are available at 20% off with the discount code: DENVER09. Also, a $250 gift certficate is available to our 8th purchaser from the great state of Colorado as our way of saying thanks for the hospitality. Next Stop: CHICAGO
